Our first game will be October 16, 2024 at 7:30 p.m.
Please come around 7p.m. in order to get ready to play and meet your new team mates. Also, please bring your $20.00 social fee.
We encourage you to join us after the game, we will be doing team introductions and pictures at this time.
We will be having 20 games this year with 12 teams (2 points for W, 1 for tie, 0 loss)
Skips please mark the schedule on the bulletin boards Circle the winning team, mark T for a tie.
- -1st Round – 11 game round-robin, then we will seed into A&B based on total points
- -2nd round 5 games A, B round-robin, then we will seed again based on total points
- -3rd Playoff round – 3 game round-robin A, B & C
- -This makes 19 games – the 20th game will be a fun game no points toward standings
- Please check your curling gear, is your broom clean, is your gripper in good shape?
If not consider a trip to the Inglewood pro shop which is now displaying curling equipment, your membership gives you a 15% discount on your purchases.
Inglewood practice ice booking system is up and running so if you would like some practice ice, you can go to the club website and book.
Reminders
Ice rental begins at 7:30 p.m. and is for 2 hours or 8 ends whichever comes first- the buzzer will sound 10 minutes before the end of 2 hours. Play your current end and one more.
Spare roles: (you are responsible to getting your own spare)
- A maximum of two spares on any team for a scheduled game and there must be at least two original team players on the team or offending team will forfeit.
- An original team member must throw rocks in the positions of third and skip for seasonal and playoff games.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES IS ALCOHOL ALLOWED IN THE RINK/CURLING AREA AS A RESULT, OFENDERS MAY HAVE THEIR CURLING PRIVLEGES SUSPENDED
