Election Meeting Minutes
Hot Shots Curling Club — March 4, 2026
Call to Order
The meeting was called to order by Ridge Forster.
Election Proceedings
President
Ridge Forster announced he was stepping down as President and that Brad Roman had volunteered to take the position. Ridge asked if anyone else wanted to be considered; no one else stepped forward. A vote was taken and all were in favor.
Social Committee
Koni Klein is standing down, and Sandee Parkin will stay on. Ridge asked if anyone else would like to step forward to help Sandee. Lorna Carpenter and Andrea Weishaupt volunteered to help. Approved by all members.
Photographer
Koni Klein volunteered to take photos for the next season. Approved by all members.
Webmaster
Brad Roman has been looking after the Hot Shot website for a number of years. Ridge asked Jan Weisbrod if he would consider taking this over. Jan said he would think about it.
Treasurer
Larry Roman will remain as Treasurer. However, both John Kowalchuk and Ridge Forster need to be removed from responsibility. Brad Roman will take on the Assistant Treasurer position.
