We will be having elections this coming Wednesday (March 6, 2024), nominations will be open for all positions President, Co-President, Treasure, Social committee ( at least 3 people), Web-Master and assistant.
The following are descriptions of these positions and who is currently in them:
President – Co President (currently Elaine & John)
- liaison with Dana Prior, Inglewood Curling Coordinator
- handling registration process
- setting up teams, list of spares and schedule
- communication to league members
Treasurer (currently John)
- Keeps bank account in order, pays club bills and deposits funds raised
Social Committee -subcommittee (Currently Koni, Sandee, Angie)
- Schedules events, handles prizes, food
- Handles fundraising (currently Elaine but someone needs to take this over)
- Hog pot (currently Ridge)
Web Master & Assistant (currently Brad & Stacie)
- Manages website
- Takes pictures at our events
- Posts club news, teams, scores and standing on web site
Summer Camping Event
Camping location- June 14 – 16
Riverbend Campground. (website has good pictures)
Golf – D’Arcy Ranch – June 15
Considerations: – camp Friday and Saturday or just one night
– signing up to golf ( don’t need to camp)
– golf and potluck only
– coming to Saturday potluck only
Many of you filled out the survey, but if you have not you can on line through the website (Hot Shots Playoff schedule/ questionnaire – Hot Shots Curling Club.com), or sheets will be available over the next two curling nights.
