Club Rules:

  • 5 Rock Rule – all leagues will play by the 5 Rock Rule.
  • Buzzer Rule – The buzzer will sound 25 minutes before the end of your league’s designated two hours. You may finish the end you are on and play one more.
  • In order to keep the draw schedule on time, should the game run over the allotted two-hour ice time, the ice staff does have the authority to stop the game and remove the rocks in order to prepare for the next draw.
  • Start Time: Games must commence precisely at your designated ice time. Each league has a two-hour ice block. If a team does not commence play at the designated time:
  • If the delay of the start of play is 1 – 15 minutes, then the non-offending team receives one point and will have last stone in the first end of actual play. One end is considered complete.
  • If the delay of start of play is 16 – 30 minutes, then the non-offending team receives one additional point and will have the last stone in the first end of actual play. Two ends are considered complete.
  • If play has not started after 30 minutes, then the non-offending team is declared winner by forfeit. The final score shall be recorded as ‘W’ and ‘L’ (win – loss).
  • For safety reasons, curling equipment IS NOT PERMITTED IN THE MAIN LOUNGE AT ANY TIME. We encourage all curlers to use the locker rooms and designated areas for their curling equipment.
  • Please do not park in the staff/director parking stalls. Your vehicle will be ticketed and towed at your expense.
  • There will be zero tolerance of alcohol in the ice rink area. Offenders may have their curling privileges suspended.

We look forward to seeing you all for the 2023-2024 curling season! Please get in touch with me if you have any questions or require assistance with registration.
