Hello Curling Members,
On Sunday, October 30th the Inglewood Golf & Curling Club Board of Directors of held a
special meeting and vote for Certificate Members regarding the future of the curling at
Inglewood Golf & Curling Club.
The Certificate Members were asked to vote on two options –
Option # 1 – Curling restoration – continue on with curling for the foreseeable future and
implement a capital spending budget of $1. 6 million over 10 years on upgrades the to curling
facility.
or
Option # 2 – discontinue curling at the end of this curling season and replace the current facility
with a year-round banquet / events centre.
I am happy to announce that the majority was for Option # 1 – Curling Restoration.
The future of curling at Inglewood is on a bright and celebrated path forward!
